About Us

Tucker County is one of the best-kept secrets in Appalachian mountain biking, and every June the Canaan MTB Festival gives riders four days to explore it properly. Based out of Davis with Blackwater Bikes as the hub, the festival offers group rides at every level — from beginner-friendly tours through the woodlands to technical backcountry challenges for the serious rider. Friday morning skills sessions provide coached instruction for newer riders. The Saturday evening fundraiser brings the community together for food, beer, and live music at Stumptown Ales.
