About Us
Wolf Creek Trails outside Fayetteville is one of southern West Virginia's underrated trail running venues, and the Howlin' Trails 5K and 10K gives you a real reason to be on them. The 5K is walk-or-run and open to anyone; the 10K is rolling singletrack through the wooded hills above the New River Gorge corridor. Both events start and finish at Bridge Brew Works, which handles the post-race logistics well. Kids 12 and under run the 5K free. The entry fee supports Active SWV's free programming, which runs year-round throughout southern WV.
