About Us
A week of trail work doesn't sound like much of a vacation — unless you're building trails at one of the best climbing destinations in the eastern United States, sleeping at a campground on the river, eating a hot dinner every night, and spending your afternoons on the wall. (Not) Work Week is the New River Alliance of Climbers' biggest annual stewardship project. Volunteers spend the week improving the approach trails that make climbing at Summersville Lake possible for everyone who follows. Free camping, meals included, all skill levels welcome for the trail work. The name is entirely accurate.
