About Us
The Revenge of the Rattlesnake doesn't apologize for what it is. A backcountry mountain bike race through Tucker County terrain — rhododendron tunnels, old logging trails, railroad grades, technical rock gardens, root-laden paths — that tests both fitness and willpower. The race starts at the Davis Riverfront Park Pavilion, heads out on the River Road Trail, climbs the demanding Davis Trail, and winds through the backcountry to Blackwater Falls and beyond. There's a cutoff. Not everyone makes it. That's part of the deal.
